Jawa has expanded its All Stars motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the Jawa 42 All Stars in India. The new model joins the previously introduced 42 FJ All Stars and 42 Bobber All Stars, completing the brand’s All Stars lineup.
The motorcycle is priced between ₹1.85 lakh and ₹1.90 lakh (ex-showroom), with the final price depending on the colour chosen. Bookings are now open, while deliveries to customers are set to commence from 14 September 2026.
More Than 60 Changes Introduced
Jawa has made more than 60 enhancements to the 42 All Stars, covering its design, stance and equipment.
Among the key updates are:
- A redesigned rear section with a wider mudguard
- New side body panels
- Twin upswept exhausts
- Freshly designed alloy wheels
- Wider tyres at both ends
- Revised overall proportions and stance
- Tubeless tyres offered as standard
- A fully digital instrument console
The updated exhaust arrangement contributes to the motorcycle’s sportier appearance and also enhances its water-wading capability. The new alloy wheels are lighter as well, with Jawa stating that the reduction in rotational mass helps improve handling and braking response.
Bigger Rear Tyre and Updated Proportions
One of the major changes to the 42 All Stars is its wider tyre setup. The motorcycle gets a 100/90-18 front tyre, while the rear uses a substantially wider 150/70-17 unit.
Combined with the wider rear mudguard and redesigned alloy wheels, the larger rear tyre gives the motorcycle a more substantial and muscular stance.
The use of tubeless tyres on both wheels is another practical upgrade. It also makes dealing with punctures easier compared with conventional wire-spoke wheel arrangements.
Engine and Mechanical Details
Powering the Jawa 42 All Stars is the familiar 294.7cc J-Panther single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine.
The motor develops 27.3 PS of maximum power and 26.8 Nm of peak torque and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle continues with 35mm telescopic front forks, while the rear suspension uses gas-charged twin shock absorbers with adjustable preload.
