Lexus Kochi has marked the arrival of the new ES 350h in Kerala with a customer delivery event involving 20 vehicles. Held at the Grand Hyatt in Kochi, the event combined the regional introduction of the hybrid sedan with handovers across Lexus India’s wider luxury vehicle portfolio.
The delivery ceremony was organised by the Nippon Group-owned Lexus Guest Experience Centre in Kochi. Along with the ES 350h, the vehicles handed over reportedly included the ES 500e, NX 350h, RX 350h, RX 500h and LM 350h.
ES 350h Available in Two Variants
Lexus India opened bookings for the eighth-generation ES 350h on July 15, 2026. The model is offered in two variants, with prices positioned as follows:
| Variant | Ex-showroom Price |
|---|---|
| ES 350h Exquisite | ₹66.10 lakh |
| ES 350h Luxury | ₹71.80 lakh |
The top-spec Luxury variant costs ₹5.70 lakh more than the Exquisite. Prices mentioned above are ex-showroom, while registration, insurance and other applicable costs are charged separately.
The ES 350h uses Lexus’ self-charging hybrid technology and forms part of the eighth-generation ES lineup. The model also expands Lexus’ electrified sedan portfolio in India alongside the fully electric ES 500e, which was introduced in the country in March 2026.
Increased Ground Clearance for Indian Roads
For the Indian market, Lexus has highlighted the sedan’s increased ground clearance, developed with local road conditions in mind. This is intended to make the luxury sedan more suitable for the varied road surfaces encountered across the country.
The ES 350h continues to combine the characteristics expected from the ES nameplate with Lexus’ focus on electrified powertrains.
20 Deliveries Include Multiple Lexus Models
The Kochi event is notable because the 20 vehicles were not limited to the newly introduced ES 350h. The handovers covered several segments of the Lexus range, including sedans, SUVs and the luxury MPV.
The reported lineup consisted of:
- ES 350h
- ES 500e
- NX 350h
- RX 350h
- RX 500h
- LM 350h
As a result, the 20-car figure should be viewed as the total number of vehicles delivered during the event rather than as ES 350h sales alone.
What the Kochi Event Indicates
The delivery ceremony provides a snapshot of customer activity for Lexus in Kerala and highlights demand across multiple products. However, the event itself does not provide enough information to determine the number of new ES 350h bookings generated, the dealership’s monthly sales performance or Lexus India’s overall market position.
Those trends would require regular retail sales or registration data over a comparable period.
Going forward, monthly ES 350h delivery numbers will offer a clearer picture of how the new-generation hybrid sedan performs in the Indian market after its initial rollout.
