Royal Enfield has introduced a new special version of its popular retro motorcycle, the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition, priced at ₹2,10,684 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Created as a tribute to the courage, history and traditions associated with the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army, the motorcycle brings a distinct military-inspired identity to the Classic 350 lineup. While the mechanical package remains unchanged, the special edition stands apart through its exclusive colour, unique insignia and themed accessories.

A Distinctive Gorkha-Inspired Design
The biggest visual highlight of the Gorkha Edition is its exclusive Gorkha Green paint finish, giving the motorcycle a purposeful and military-inspired appearance.
Adding to its unique identity is a special insignia featuring the iconic crossed Khukris, a symbol closely associated with the Gorkha Regiment. These details help differentiate the special edition from the standard Classic 350 variants.
Despite the new theme, the motorcycle retains the timeless design elements that define the Classic range. The familiar teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlamp, wide mudguards and relaxed upright riding position continue to be part of the package.
Royal Enfield has also retained chrome detailing on components such as the engine casing, exhaust system and wire-spoke wheels. The combination of chrome elements and the muted green paint gives the motorcycle a distinctive blend of classic styling and military-inspired character.

Beneath the exclusive styling, the Gorkha Edition uses the same mechanical setup found on the regular Classic 350.
Power comes from Royal Enfield’s familiar 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled J-series engine, producing around 20.2 PS and 27 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield has not made any performance-oriented changes specifically for this edition. Instead, the focus remains on the relaxed and smooth riding experience that has become a defining characteristic of the Classic 350.
This means existing Classic riders will find the motorcycle instantly familiar, while buyers looking for a more distinctive version now have another option in the lineup.
Modern Convenience Features Included
The Gorkha Edition also carries forward the updates introduced with the 2026 Classic 350 range.
Among the key additions are an assist and slipper clutch and a USB Type-C fast-charging port. The assist and slipper clutch is designed to offer smoother clutch operation and reduce the impact of sudden or aggressive downshifts, while the Type-C charging port adds extra convenience for everyday use.
These features are not exclusive to the Gorkha Edition and are already available on the updated Classic 350 range.
